Today, the students made a book report.
The incredibly imaginative title of the book is…
The students read the whole book again and learned the difference between fiction and non fiction. They really enjoyed discovering interesting facts about ants. In particular, they loved the idea of ‘farmer’ ants that look after young larvae and other insects so that they can ‘milk’ them for their juices!!!
Once the students had finished reading and summarising the book, they got down to business and started writing a report about it.
They really enjoyed expressing their interest in the text and they all gave different examples of what they found interesting.
